Dr. Linda Lehmkuhl is the Chief Executive Officer at MedVet, where she drives organizational success and executes MedVet’s strategic vision. Her key responsibilities are focused on ensuring the organization provides an exceptional Caregiver Experience, delivering expert, compassionate care and service (the MedVet Experience), and fostering healthy growth to serve more pets.
Dr. Lehmkuhl works closely with the Leadership Team to maintain a mission-driven and values-based culture. She is dedicated to expanding access to specialty and emergency care and preserving the integrity of the veterinary profession in service of the human-animal bond.
She is a founding partner of MedVet Columbus who began her career as a veterinary cardiologist. Dr. Lehmkuhl then added clinical leadership to her repertoire, serving as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer prior to her current role.
Before joining MedVet, she was an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 1993 to 1999. During her tenure, she contributed significantly to the field of veterinary cardiology through her research and teaching. Dr. Lehmkuhl earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Science (MS) from The Ohio State University, where she also completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery and a residency in cardiology.
Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her three adult children and dogs.
