William C. Hillier, DVM, is a Residency Trained in Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian at MedVet Austin, where he has been part of the team since 2026.
Case earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Troy University in Troy, AL. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, GA.
Following veterinary school, he completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospitals in West Lafayette, IN. He then completed his residency training in critical care at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University qain North Grafton, MA.
He has authored a publication on the administration of porcine surfactant in the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in emergency and critical care medicine. His professional interests include managing complex emergency and critical care cases and providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.
His passion for veterinary medicine is deeply rooted in his upbringing. Raised by a veterinarian mother, he is proud to share this field with his sisters, one who is already practicing, another currently in veterinary school, and his youngest sister who begins veterinary school this year. His goal is to provide high-quality emergency and critical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
