Twila Booke, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Mandeville and MedVet New Orleans.
Dr. Booke graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in PEI, Canada.
She completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware in Newark, DE, and an anesthesia & analgesia internship at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.
Dr. Booke has a special interest in anesthesia and analgesia, conservation medicine, and emergency medicine. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the opportunity to give back to the animals that give so much to us. Advocating for all animals will always remain the most important aspect of her professional career.
Dr. Twila Booke has been a dancer her whole life and has a passion for cooking and travel.
