Trevor Upton, DVM, Residency Trained in Surgery
Trevor Upton, DVM, is residency trained in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Mandeville.
Dr. Upton earned his Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.
Dr. Upton is currently completing his surgery residency at MedVet New Orleans and Mandeville. He is a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
What draws him most to veterinary medicine is the opportunity to help animals that are suffering and support the families who bring them in for care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Upton is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and exploring new places.
