Sarah R. Stewart, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Akron, proudly serving the team since 2024.
Dr. Stewart earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Kentucky, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She furthered her education by completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Stewart has a special interest in cardiology, critical care, and toxicology. She finds great fulfillment in nurturing the human-animal bond and supporting families during their most critical times.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Stewart enjoys exploring nature, homesteading, reading, traveling, and playing video games.
