Sarah Mazur, DVM (she/her), is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Hilliard.
Dr. Mazur earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary studies from The University of Nevada in Reno, NV. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Mazur completed a yearlong internship in Rotating Medicine & Surgery at MidAtlantic Equine Medical Center in Ringoes, NJ. She also completed an additional internship in Equine Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
She has authored and co-authored research on topics including glucose, insulin, and incretin responses to various feeding methods in neonatal foals.
Dr. Mazur’s favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are emergency and critical care, and complex disease management. She is passionate about working with pets and their owners to ensure the health and longevity of animal companions.
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, hiking, and reading.
