Sarah Donnelly, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at WestVet Boise, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Donnelly attended Boise State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry and graduated summa cum laude. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
Although she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Donnelly especially values the opportunity to combine critical thinking, collaboration, and compassionate care to help pets and their families. She is passionate about client communication and enjoys partnering with pet owners to navigate medical decisions and provide the best possible care for their beloved companions. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is building relationships with clients and meeting new patients every day.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Sarah Donnelly enjoys fly fishing, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her pets, Fred and Bean.
