Sarah Depenbrock, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVIM (LAIM), is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Vancouver.
Dr. Depenbrock earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis. She went on to earn a Master of Science in clinical veterinary sciences and completed in large animal internal medicine and surgery residency at The Ohio State University. Her veterinary career has taken her across North America and through a wide variety of aspects of veterinary medicine, including rural mixed animal practice, specialty practice, academic settings, teaching, and research.
She is enthusiastic about many aspects of veterinary medicine and finds both clinical and non-clinical work fascinating. Some of her favorite moments in practice have come from resuscitating critically ill patients, performing challenging surgeries, and training the next generation of veterinarians. She truly enjoys working closely with owners to address their pet’s individual needs.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Depenbrock can likely be found somewhere in the woods, mountain biking, trail running, or her favorite pursuit of spying on wild animals.
