Rachel Meyer, DVM, Residency Trained in Internal Medicine, has been a valued part of the MedVet Chicago team since 2024.
Dr. Meyer attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Meyer completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. She then pursued a residency in Internal Medicine at Iowa State University.
Dr. Meyer’s special interests within veterinary medicine include hematology, immune-mediated disease, and infectious disease. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is the diagnostic investigation and the care of hospitalized patients.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Rachel Meyer enjoys cooking, reading, and running with her dog.
