Rachel Anderson, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dallas and MedVet Frisco, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Anderson attended Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Although she enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Anderson has particular interests in emergency medicine and internal medicine. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is helping pet owners better understand and care for their beloved companions so they can provide the best possible quality of life for their pets.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Rachel Anderson enjoys traveling and is always planning her next adventure. She also enjoys spending time with her three rescue pets: a Great Pyrenees mix named Sophie and two domestic shorthair cats, Cam and Cody.
