Dr. Geels completed a yearlong rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Auburn University in Auburn, AL, followed by her residency in Medical Oncology and Masters of Science degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
She has authored and co-authored publications on topics in veterinary oncology. Her clinical interests include lymphoma, mast cell tumor, and histiocytic sarcoma. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary oncology is prioritizing a patient’s quality of life and ensuring they feel their best throughout treatment.
