Nora Collins, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Emergency Medicine at MedVet Asheville, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Nora Collins earned dual bachelor’s degrees—a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish—from the University of Central Missouri. She went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri.
Dr. Collins has special interests in Emergency Medicine and emergency surgery. She is dedicated to providing swift, compassionate care and takes pride in guiding pet owners through challenging and often emotional situations. Her goal is to help pets recover and return home to the families who love them.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Nora Collins enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two dogs and finds joy in the peaceful moments they share together.
