Nicholle Jenkins, DVM completed her residency training in Internal Medicine as a dual shore program at MedVet New Orleans and MedVet Mandeville after serving as a hospitalist, where she discovered her passion for complex case management and advanced internal medicine.
Dr. Jenkins earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University. Following veterinary school, she worked in private practice and emergency medicine, gaining extensive experience in critical and acute care. Her time as a hospitalist further strengthened her interest in comprehensive patient management and ultimately inspired her pursuit of specialty training in internal medicine.
Dr. Jenkins has delivered multiple lectures within the veterinary community and is passionate about continuing education and collaboration. She has a special interest in managing chronic diseases and values strong partnerships with referring veterinarians to ensure coordinated, thoughtful, and patient-centered care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Jenkins enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her family.
