Dr. Jenkins earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Following veterinary school, she worked in private practice and emergency medicine, gaining extensive experience in critical and acute care. Her time as a hospitalist further strengthened her interest in comprehensive patient management and ultimately inspired her pursuit of specialty training in internal medicine.
Dr. Jenkins has delivered multiple lectures within the veterinary community and is passionate about continuing education and collaboration. She has a special interest in managing chronic diseases and values strong partnerships with referring veterinarians to ensure coordinated, thoughtful, and patient-centered care.
