Nicholas Moraites, DVM, MPH is a Canine Rehabilitation Practioner at MedVet New Orleans, where he joined the team in 2022.
Dr. Nicholas Moraites received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University. He then completed an internship in internal medicine and surgery at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and training in canine rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Nicholas Moraites’ favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is seeing patients make improvements during their recovery and resuming back to their normal activities.
When not treating patients, Dr. Moraites enjoys watching sports (specifically Duke Basketball), traveling with his family, which includes a Golden Retriever named Lola and a Labrador Retriever named Scout.
