Nicholas Moraites, DVM, MPH is a Canine Rehabilitation Practioner at MedVet New Orleans.
Dr. Nicholas Moraites received his Bachelor of Science Degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University in Durham, NC. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
He then completed an internship in internal medicine and surgery at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, LA, and training in canine rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville, TN.
Dr. Nicholas Moraites’ favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is seeing patients make improvements during their recovery and resuming back to their normal activities.
When not treating patients, Dr. Moraites enjoys watching sports (specifically Duke Basketball), traveling with his family, which includes a Golden Retriever named Lola and a Labrador Retriever named Scout.
