McKenzie Livengood, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Avian & Exotics at MedVet Hilliard, where she has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Livengood earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in biology plus animal and nutritional sciences from West Virginia University. She then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Livengood has a profound interest in exotic mammal medicine and surgery, especially rabbits. She is also passionate about exotic animal husbandry and nutrition. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is making animals’ lives better through medicine and education.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. McKenzie Livengood loves spending time with her own rabbits and cats. She also enjoys being outdoors, reading, and crafting.
