McKenna Sheriff, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVR (she/her), is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at MedVet Cincinnati, where she has been a part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Sheriff earned her Bachelor of Science in equine science, with minors in biology and business, from Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, followed by a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Missouri.
Dr. Sheriff completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in Clackamas, Oregon, before going on to complete her radiology residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
She has authored work on the use of single voxel intermediate echo time magnetic resonance spectroscopy at 3T in dogs with meningoencephalitis of unknown origin, with publication forthcoming.
What Dr. Sheriff finds most rewarding about veterinary radiology is putting the puzzle together and finding the diagnosis, and being able to provide answers, next steps, and even closure to pet owners.
She is a member of the American College of Veterinary Radiology and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Sheriff enjoys equestrian sports, having owned and competed horses in hunter jumper for over 20 years. She also loves trying new foods, iced coffee, cuddling with her cats, and watching reality TV.
