Matthew Salerno, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Chicago. He joined our team in 2024.
Dr. Salerno earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona. He completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Salerno is fascinated by gastrointestinal disease, lower urinary tract disease, and toxins. He greatly enjoys advocating for his patients, providing comfort for pets and their people, and working in a collaborative environment to provide high-quality patient care.
Outside of our hospital, Dr. Matthew Salerno enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with his family, which includes two beloved grey cats.
