Marjorie Wilson, LMSW, MPH

Marjorie is the Veterinary Social Worker at WestVet in Boise. She had been a part of the team since 2024.

Marjorie completed a dual master’s degree program at the University of Washington in Social Work and Public Health. While she is new to the field of veterinary medicine, Marjorie has been a licensed social worker since 2018 and has worked in a variety of human medicine settings, from community-based substance use treatment to an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Marjorie has special interests in public health, harm reduction, and animal welfare. Her favorite part of working in veterinary social work is being on the forefront of a new field that brings together her love of working with people and the human-animal bond.

When not supporting clients in our hospital, Marjorie enjoys spending time with her daughters (Raven and Wolf), and trapping, neutering, and releasing (TNR) feral domesticated rabbits on the Boise Bench.
