Lydia Kazmar, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Vancouver. She joined the team in 2023.
Dr. Kazmar earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center.
Dr. Kazmar is fascinated by many areas of veterinary medicine and has special interests in critical patient stabilization, emergency medicine, pain management, trauma, and wound management. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is that each day presents a new set of challenges and rewards. Dr. Kazmar greatly enjoys helping pets and their families while working alongside other skilled and dedicated caregivers.
When not helping pets feel better, Dr. Lydia Kazmar spends her time cooking, hiking, and exploring nature with her husband and dogs.
