Lauren Ellingsberg, DVM
Lauren Ellingsberg, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at MedVet Chicago, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Ellingsberg attended Grinnell College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology with honors and a concentration in neuroscience. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. During veterinary school, she co-authored a publication in Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound evaluating the performance of artificial intelligence software in detecting confirmed heart failure in dogs and cats.
Dr. Ellingsberg enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has particular interests in internal medicine and medical oncology. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is collaborating with both pet owners and veterinary colleagues to provide the best possible care for patients. She finds it especially rewarding to see the dedication and love pets receive from everyone involved in their care while working together to improve their quality of life.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Lauren Ellingsberg enjoys spending time outdoors, whether playing soccer, swimming, exploring the city, or adventuring with her dog.
