Katherine Spry (she/her), DVM, Residency Trained in Internal Medicine is a veterinarian at MedVet Vancouver.
Dr. Spry earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in animal science and one in agricultural business, from Iowa State University in Ames, IA. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University.
Prior to joining MedVet, she served on the Internal Medicine team at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Overland Park, KS. Her clinical interests span a broad range of internal medicine disciplines, with particular focus on
endocrinology, gastroenterology, hepatobiliary disease, immune-mediated diseases, and cardiology.
Dr. Spry is drawn to veterinary medicine by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families. She finds the depth of the human-animal bond to be profoundly moving and truly motivational, and looks forward to working closely with pet owners and colleagues to provide exceptional care.
When not caring for patients, she enjoys landscaping and gardening, practicing martial arts, and embracing the outdoors through biking, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.
