Kaitlin Murphy, VMD, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Akron, where she has been a part of the team since 2024. Dr. Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology, along with a master’s degree in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree.
Dr. Murphy has a special interest in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and feline medicine. She finds great fulfillment in supporting and strengthening the human-animal bond.
When not caring for patients and their families, Dr. Murphy enjoys indulging in multi-media art, reading, and skiing.
