Julia Fincher, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet New Orleans and MedVet Mandeville where she has been part of the team since 2022.
Dr. Fincher completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at Louisiana State University where she went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
During her training, Dr. Julia Fincher developed a special interest in emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and preventive care. She loves emergency medicine because no two days are the same, it allows her to see a wide variety of cases, and she has the opportunity to connect with people every day through a shared love of animals.
Outside of work, Dr. Fincher enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, and going on adventures with her rescue dog, Maple.
