Jonathan Cohen, DVM, is a Resident in Veterinary Radiology at MedVet Cincinnati. He has been a part of the team since 2022.
Dr. Cohen is originally from Baltimore, MD, and attended the University of Maryland, College Park, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning his veterinary degree, Dr. Cohen completed a rotating general medicine and surgery internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, and a specialty internship in radiology at MedVet Cincinnati.
Dr. Cohen has a special interest in diagnostic imaging. His favorite thing about practicing veterinary medicine is collaborating with other specialists, piecing together the diagnostic puzzle to identify and treat disease and improve a pet’s quality of life. He is the primary author of Veterinary radiologic error rate as determined by necropsy, published in the scientific journal, Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound, in 2023.
When away from the hospital, he enjoys playing golf and pickleball, doing Crossfit, following baseball and football, and participating in the local Jewish community.
