Jonathan Cohen, DVM, Diplomate, ACVR, is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at MedVet Chicago.
Dr. Cohen is originally from Baltimore, MD. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis, CA.
Following earning his veterinary degree, Dr. Cohen completed a rotating general medicine and surgery internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, NY, and a Radiology internship and residency at MedVet Cincinnati.
Dr. Cohen has a special interest in diagnostic imaging. His favorite thing about practicing veterinary medicine is collaborating with other specialists, piecing together the diagnostic puzzle to identify and treat disease and improve a pet’s quality of life. He is the primary author of several scientific journal articles, published in Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound.
When away from the hospital, he enjoys playing golf and pickleball, CrossFit, following baseball and football, and participating in the local Jewish community.
