Jon Powers, DVM, Diplomate ACVR, is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at MedVet Chicago.
Dr. Powers earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Norbert College before going on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, College of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialty Center in Bannockburn, Illinois, followed by his residency in radiology, also at Veterinary Specialty Center.
Dr. Powers maintains particular clinical interests in ultrasound and CT. He finds great satisfaction in collaborating with other clinicians to reach a diagnosis that leads to meaningful and actionable treatment and management for his patients.
Outside of work, he enjoys exercise, reading, and traveling.
