Jennifer (Jen) Levos, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Indianapolis where she has been part of the team since 2015.
Dr. Jennifer Levos attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Levos began her career in general practice. She quickly realized that her true passion was emergency medicine and has provided emergency care for dogs and cats exclusively since 2012. She also serves as an instructor of anatomy and physiology to nursing students at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, IN.
The vast array of patients, ever-changing environment, and ability to assist pets and their families in their biggest time of need are what drive Dr. Levos’ passion for emergency medicine. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is her ability to work with a collaborative team that provides outstanding patient care.
Although Dr. Levos maintains an interest in all aspects of small animal emergency medicine, she has particular interests in feline medicine and chronic kidney disease. When not treating patients, Dr. Levos enjoys spending time with her animal family, which consists of a Labrador Retriever (Henry) and two cats (Olivia and Owen).
