Jennifer D. Edwards, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Edwards attended The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.
Although interested in all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Edwards especially enjoys the dynamic nature of emergency care. She appreciates that every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients. One of her favorite parts of practicing emergency medicine is responding quickly in urgent situations while working collaboratively to provide timely, compassionate care for pets and the people who love them.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Jennifer Edwards enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and camping. She also loves board games, home renovation projects, and spending time in the mountains near waterfalls with a hot cup of tea.
