Jacob G. Klos, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian and the Medical Director at MedVet Asheville where he has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Klos attended Ripon College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Klos went on to complete a rotating internship at Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, as well as an internship at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center.
Dr. Klos has a special interest in emergency management of immune mediated and infectious diseases. One of his favorite parts of practicing veterinary medicine is seeing the human animal bond while assisting owners in caring for their pets.
When away from the hospital, Dr. Jacob Klos enjoys camping, coaching and playing soccer, hiking, and traveling.
