Heather Hamblin, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Salt Lake City. She joined the team in 2023.
Dr. Hamblin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University.
Dr. Hamblin is fascinated by many areas of veterinary medicine. She has special interests in conservation theriogenology medicine, emergency procedures, and wildlife medicine. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is making a difference in the lives of pets and their people. She is passionate about continuing education and she greatly enjoys witnessing the incredible things pets are capable of.
When not helping pets feel better, Dr. Heather Hamblin enjoys the great outdoors, baking, gardening, and being involved in local and global animal and environmental conservation projects. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their small, scruffy, and spunky dog.
