Haley Hensel, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dallas and MedVet Urgent Care in Richardson, where she has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Hensel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture from Murray State University and pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Hensel has a profound interest in soft tissue emergency surgery and in diagnosing and managing critical and complex cases. Her favorite part of the profession is helping animals when they need it the most and being an advocate for their wellbeing.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Haley Hensel enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, endurance running, and reading. She shares her home with two lovely Pit mixes named Sherlock and Watson.
