Grace Scrafford, DVM

Grace Scrafford, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at WestVet Boise, where she has been part of the team since 2026.

Dr. Scrafford attended California Polytechnic State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science with a minor in biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, she co-authored a publication in Animals examining conscious indirect blood pressure measurements in Asiatic black bears.

Dr. Scrafford enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has particular interests in cardiology and wildlife medicine. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is developing individualized medical plans that meet the unique needs of each patient and client. She finds it especially rewarding to advocate for her patients while empowering pet owners to make informed decisions about their pets’ health.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Grace Scrafford enjoys fishing, hiking, and skiing.
