Grace Lim, BVM&S, MS, Diplomate, ACVAA, is a Board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia & Analgesia at MedVet Vancouver, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Lim earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Edinburgh Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. She later earned a Master of Science degree in Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in veterinary medical research from Mississippi State University. Following veterinary school, Dr. Lim completed a small animal rotating internship at Ironhorse Vet Care and OakVet Animal Specialty Hospital before completing her residency in veterinary anesthesia and pain management at Mississippi State University.
Dr. Lim enjoys all aspects of Anesthesia & Pain Management, with particular interests in geriatric anesthesia and local-regional anesthetic techniques. She is passionate about ensuring each patient remains stable, comfortable, and supported throughout their procedure and recovery through gentle handling, attentive monitoring, and proactive pain management. Dr. Lim has also co-authored a publication in the American Journal of Veterinary Research examining the effects of alfaxalone on the ultrasonographic appearance of the feline spleen.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Grace Lim enjoys needlepoint and skiing.
