Emily Hartman, DVM, is Limited to the Practice of Surgery at MedVet Dallas, where she has been a member of the team since 2023.
Dr. Hartman attended Northeastern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences. She earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Hartman completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Michigan State University, and a surgery residency at Purdue University. Additionally, Dr. Hartman earned a Master of Science degree during her residency at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Emily Hartman has a special interest in mandibular and maxillofacial surgery, surgical critical care and traumatology, feline and toy breed orthopedics, and all forms of minimally invasive surgery. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is helping pets, collaborating with team members, getting to know the families she works with, problem-solving, and above all, providing excellent patient care.
In her spare time, she enjoys any chance to be with her family, scuba diving, reading, cooking, listening to live music, exploring Dallas, and visiting local breweries with her two dogs, Chunk and Okra.
