Danielle Johnson, LMSW
Danielle Johnson, LMSW, is a Veterinary Social Worker at MedVet Dallas, where she has been part of the team since June 2026.
Danielle earned her Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, where she gained hands-on experience resettling refugees with The International Rescue Committee of Dallas. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work, also from The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her graduate studies, she served survivors of human trafficking through New Friends New Life in Dallas.
Veterinary social work has been a dream position for Danielle since she first learned about the field five years ago. She has worked in veterinary medicine at a small general practice on and off for ten years, and found her calling in a role that allows her to combine her passion for helping both people and animals. Her favorite part of being a Veterinary Social Worker is bringing together her love for animals and people in a meaningful way.
When not at work, Danielle enjoys impromptu living room dance parties with her daughter, finding local thrift gems, cozying up with her cat, and settling in with an iced coffee and a good book.
