Christine Ashman, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dallas where she joined the team in 2021.
Dr. Ashman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology from the University of Florida College of Agriculture and Life Science followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. While attending veterinary school, Dr. Ashmen was also in the Army National Guard.
She has a special interest in feline urinary obstructions, diabetic ketoacidosis, gastroenteritis, and Addison’s disease. She is passionate about helping animals and wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl. Prior to working at MedVet, Dr. Christine Ashman spent more than five years in veterinary emergency medicine in Florida and New York.
When away from the hospital, Dr. Ashman enjoys playing billiards and spending time with her family.
