Carmen Lindheimer, DVM, MS, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Asheville where she has been part of the team since 2018. Dr. Lindheimer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida State University. Following the completion of undergraduate studies, she earned a masters in genetics at Florida State University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Carmen Lindheimer spent several years practicing small animal medicine before entering the field of emergency veterinary medicine. Dr. Lindheimer has a special interest in critical care medicine and cytology but finds all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine to be fulfilling.
When not caring for her patients, Dr. Lindheimer can be found in her garden or walking in the woods with her husband and two Gordon Setters.
