Carmen Leslie, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at WestVet Boise, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gonzaga University before going on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. During veterinary school, she was honored as a member of the Phi Zeta Honors Society. She then completed the Emergency Clinical Mentorship Program (ECMP), further developing her skills in emergency medicine.
An Idaho native from the Wood River Valley, Dr. Leslie is passionate about connecting with people to help families and their animals through some of their most challenging moments. After four years of veterinary school in Arizona, she is excited to return home to serve her community.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Leslie enjoys reading, hiking, horseback riding, and jiu jitsu.
