Caleb Applebaum, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at MedVet Chicago, where he has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Applebaum attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Although he enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Applebaum has particular interests in Cardiology and Radiation Oncology. He finds it rewarding to work through complex medical conditions and help patients on their path to recovery. One of his favorite parts of the veterinary profession is building relationships with pet owners through education and communication, empowering them to make informed decisions about their pets’ care.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Caleb Applebaum enjoys attending sporting events, cooking, and hiking.
