Brock Henson, DVM
Emergency Medicine Veterinarian
Brock Henson, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at WestVet Meridian, where he joined the team in 2026.
Dr. Henson earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma State University before going on to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He also completed the Emergency Clinical Mentorship Program (ECMP), furthering his expertise in emergency medicine.
His favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping animals in critical situations. In the emergency setting, patients are often very sick or injured, and he truly enjoys being able to step in during those moments—working through each case and figuring out the puzzle of why a patient is sick or hurt. It is deeply rewarding to see those patients improve and to reunite them with their owners.
Dr. Henson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA).
Outside of the clinic, he can be found fishing, hiking, or enjoying just about anything outdoors—always with his dog by his side.
