Brandon Verkinderen, DVM, is a Veterinary Internal Medicine Resident at MedVet Cincinnati, where he has been part of the team since 2023.
Dr. Verkinderen attended North Dakota State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning his veterinary degree, he completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at WestVet Animal Emergency and Specialty Center.
Dr. Verkinderen has a special interest in endocrinopathies, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is building relationships with the families of pets he cares for, especially helping them understand the disease process, diagnostics, and treatment options.
In his free time, Dr. Brandon Verkinderen enjoys hiking, snowboarding, water skiing, reading, spending time with his dogs and cats, and trying new things.
