Aren VanLishout, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Vancouver. They joined the team in 2023.
Dr. VanLishout earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. They completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital.
Dr. VanLishout enjoys many aspects of the veterinary profession. They have special interests in endocrine diseases, trauma, and urinary obstructions. Their favorite part about practicing veterinary medicine is forming connections with owners and their pets during unexpected and difficult times.
When not helping pets feel better, Dr. Aren VanLishout enjoys reading, paddle boarding, trail running, and lounging around with their beloved dogs.
