Angel Tumminello, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Pittsburgh, where she has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Tumminello earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with honors, from Georgia Southern University. She then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Tumminello is passionate about anesthesia and pain management, emergency medicine, and wound care. She finds the most fulfillment in helping families through challenging times with their beloved pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Tumminello enjoys going to farmers markets and festivals, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, and participating in dog sports such as agility and rally with her Labrador, Ruby, and Rough Collie, Lana.
