Andrew Lichtig, DVM, Diplomate, ACVO, is a Board-certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist at MedVet Jupiter, where he has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Lichtig received his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Rutgers University. He then received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lichtig went on to complete a rotating medicine and surgery internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners, in addition to completing a three-year ophthalmology residency at MedVet Jupiter.
Dr. Andrew Lichtig has a special interest in ophthalmology because of the eye’s unique ability to often reveal a diagnosis, simply by performing a comprehensive exam, as well as the refined technique and training needed to perform delicate ophthalmic microsurgery.
When not working, he enjoys playing ice hockey, practicing yoga, playing guitar/bass/drums, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children (of both the human and feline variety).
