Allison L. Schroeder, DVM, MS, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Diley Hill, where she has been a team member since 2024.
Dr. Schroeder earned her Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture, majoring in animal sciences with a specialization in biosciences, from The Ohio State University. She then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she also earned a Master of Science in animal sciences, focusing on ruminant nutrition.
Passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Schroeder has a special interest in emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She finds the most rewarding part of her profession is using her creativity to enhance the quality of life for animals and their families. Whether diagnosing a complex condition, performing life-saving surgery, or providing routine care, she is driven by the positive impact on the animals’ health and the joy it brings to their families.
Dr. Schroeder’s innovative approach in veterinary medicine allows her to tailor treatments to individual animals, devise solutions for complex medical issues, and improve patient outcomes. Her work is engaging and fulfilling, involving problem-solving, continuous learning, and making significant positive impacts on animal health and welfare.
Outside of work, Dr. Schroeder enjoys playing water polo, swimming, and taking her dog on adventures such as hiking and swimming. She is dedicated to spending quality time with her family and friends.
