Alec Land, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Diley Hill.
Dr. Land attended The College of Wooster where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. He then attended Miami University where he earned a Master of Science degree in Zoology and then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Land has a special interest in advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. He always wanted to be a veterinarian because of his deep interest and curiosity about animals. He grew up in the Cleveland area and spent his childhood in wooded areas, finding and observing wildlife. It was no surprise when Dr. Alec Land decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
Prior to joining MedVet, Dr. Land co-owned Diley Hill Animal Emergency Center (now MedVet Diley Hill) in Canal Winchester, OH, Easton Animal Hospital in Columbus, OH, and Groveport Canal Animal Hospital in Groveport, OH.
Dr. Land and his wife have two daughters, one dog (Lily), one cat (Nelly), and two horses (Cowboy and Montana). He enjoys barn building and forestry.
