Alan Ludwikowski, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Columbus.
Dr. Ludwikowski attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning his veterinary degree, he completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Ludwikowski enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine but has a particular interest in neurologic and oncologic emergencies. He enjoys working with high-acuity emergencies that require emergent resuscitation and stabilization. Dr. Ludwikowski’s favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is helping families understand their pet’s condition and developing a treatment plan allowing pets to feel better faster.
When not treating patients, Dr. Alan Ludwikowski enjoys spending time outdoors with his Newfoundland, Mabel, traveling, and weightlifting. He’s actively pursuing his goal of becoming an amateur bodybuilder.
