Cheyenne Chen (she/her), DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Northern Utah.
Dr. Chen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of California, Davis, CA. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis as well.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Chen completed a yearlong rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO, followed by an Emergency and Critical Care internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO.
Working with pets in intensive care is immensely gratifying. She is grateful to be part of a team that provides compassionate care and support to both pets and their worried families during their most challenging moments.
Dr. Chen has authored and co-authored publications on topics including platelet function and emergency and critical care. She maintains a clinical interest in Emergency and Critical Care.
She is an active member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS).
When not caring for patients, Dr. Chen enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and handbuilding ceramics.
