Bradley Whelchel (he/him), DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Cardiology), is a Board-Certified Veterinary Cardiologist at MedVet Silicon Valley.
Dr. Whelchel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Davis in 2017. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis in 2021.
Following his veterinary degree, he completed a yearlong rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Iowa State University. He then completed a yearlong specialty internship in critical care at North Carolina State University. Dr. Whelchel subsequently completed his residency in cardiology at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
He has authored and co-authored multiple publications on topics including cardiology, nutrition, and internal medicine. He brings a passion for working closely with pet owners to ensure their pets receive the best care possible, while also building lasting relationships with patients he is able to help improve their quality of lif
Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Whelchel enjoys hiking, swimming, going to the beach, baking, exploring new restaurants, watching television, and spending time with family and friends.
